It was only a couple of months ago that we took a first look at Assetto Corsa in its early release form.  This week they came out with the release candidate 1.0 version of the game.  This marks a point in time that you could consider their sim ready for prime time.  Despite the extensive list of fixes, changes and addition to the sim we are still treating it in a late beat form.  Therefor this video is more of a catch up to let you see or know what has been changed or improved within Assetto Corsa.

There have been improvements in every direction when it comes to AC, this includes the addition of certain cars, like the Laferrari, the Mercedes AGM, and the Shelby Cobra.

With a few more fixes that should be coming soon will once again take another look at AC in the form of a full review.

It really is a brilliant sim, my favourite feature is being able to flat spot the tyres, it really teaches you to brake properly :D

Assetto Corsa is really starting to come along.  This recent update was a massive step in the right direction.  Between the improvments and the huge modding community that is behind AC this sim is really on quiet a bit of momentum.  It will be grea tto see how the public takes to AC and when the multiplayer gets as good as the rest of the sim it will really have a place in the world of racing.

TP needs some updating. It is not very intuitive for new users. Instructions are hard to follow at times. Support response is in need of someone's dedication. Having individual paints is a real attraction within iRacing. This needs to be done better or replaced! â€‹Interesting that without member support there would be no answers or help. It's a shame, the program is so popular not to have good management.

Hey Shaun:

I was hoping to participate in the next race and on Simracing System it says it's at Fuji. Which version of Fuji should I download.

Thanks!

Sean,
I am all signed up and ready to race in the Carrera Cup, except for one thing.  How do I obtain Road America?  I do not have it in AC as one of my tracks.  Where is it?
