Creosim MPS-15 Paddle Shifter Upgrade for Fanatec Rims

The Simpit presents our review of the Creosim MPS-15 Paddle Shifters.  These paddle shifters are made as a direct replacement for the stock shifters within the Fanatec Formula Wheel Rims or their Universal Hub.

The stock shifters are fine shifters that operate in the traditional way of having a lever attached to a spring for tension, and then at some point in the throw they engage a button or switch to make a shift.  This is standard, it works well and it is the industry standard for our wheels.  The Creosim MPS-15 shifters operate in a totally different way, that provides a much more positive tactile feedback of shift and prevents miss shifts or "Ghost Shifting".  The MPS-15 use a magnetic connection to read the shift from the driver.  THe paddle shifter will not move, until that magnetic connection, and at that moment the shift is made.

In this review Shaun gives you all of the details about these shifters and he also covers the installation process.  From there he takes them out on track to talk about the difference between these and the stock shifters.

TP needs some updating. It is not very intuitive for new users. Instructions are hard to follow at times. Support response is in need of someone's dedication. Having individual paints is a real attraction within iRacing. This needs to be done better or replaced! â€‹Interesting that without member support there would be no answers or help. It's a shame, the program is so popular not to have good management.

Hey Shaun:

I was hoping to participate in the next race and on Simracing System it says it's at Fuji. Which version of Fuji should I download.

I am all signed up and ready to race in the Carrera Cup, except for one thing.  How do I obtain Road America?  I do not have it in AC as one of my tracks.  Where is it?
