2016 was an incredible year for sim racing. To end the year Shaun Cole of The Simpit gives his thoughts on what made 2016 special as we prepare for an even bigger year in sim racing.
Thank you, Shaun, and because of your thorough review I ended up with my Rseat N1, which I love.
Quit simply, I think 2017 will be split between two main stories. First, I believe by the end of the year one of the major sim racing companies will come out with, or at least announce, a direct drive wheel. Secondly, we'll see a doubling of not only the number of games using VR, but of the games' quality, as well. I think it is going to be a great year for our hobby/passion!
Raceroom made big improvements and is now, at the end of 2016, a real contender on the market!

TP needs some updating. It is not very intuitive for new users. Instructions are hard to follow at times. Support response is in need of someone's dedication. Having individual paints is a real attraction within iRacing. This needs to be done better or replaced! Interesting that without member support there would be no answers or help. It's a shame, the program is so popular not to have good management.

I plan on taking this advice. Great page!

Hey Shaun:
I was hoping to participate in the next race and on Simracing System it says it's at Fuji. Which version of Fuji should I download.
Thanks!

Sean,
I am all signed up and ready to race in the Carrera Cup, except for one thing. How do I obtain Road America? I do not have it in AC as one of my tracks. Where is it?
