Glenn McGee has successfully made the transition from sim racer to real life pro racer.  He competes in the Battery Tender Global MX-5 after winning the Mazda Road to 24 shootout and the $100,000 prize towards his racing efforts.

We have heard from Glenn McGee after that competition and again during his pro debut.  On this weekend he was here for a very special race. This race would feature the now Mazda MX-5 regular and former iRacing champion Glenn McGee as well as the new iRacing champion and new Real Life phenom Kamil Franczak.  Both of these sim racers were invited to go against the best of the best MX-5 drivers in the world hand selected by Mazda.

During that weekend and immediately following the first of two races he took the time to talk with us about how he has grown as a racer since we last talked.

Hey Shaun:

I was hoping to participate in the next race and on Simracing System it says it's at Fuji. Which version of Fuji should I download.

Thanks!

Sean,
I am all signed up and ready to race in the Carrera Cup, except for one thing.  How do I obtain Road America?  I do not have it in AC as one of my tracks.  Where is it?

Great review, you've convinced me to buy one of these for my rigsmile

One question, do you think the mounting brackets could be inverted (and swapped left to right) to mount it from the top?
