Wave Italy Impetus Pedals - Live Testing - The Simpit

As our sim racing hobby grow in both numbers and technology we have seen an explosion of high end sim racing equipment.  One of the companies involved in this explosion is Wave Italy.  As a casual sim racer, that name might be new to you.  But if you are knowledgeable of high end equipment than Wave Italy is one of those companies making equipment fit for real racing, let alone in our sims.

Wave Italy has sent the Simpit a set of their Impetus Pedals, a three pedal load cell racing set of pedals that go for about $1500 Bucks.  They are racey, as in the look like they belong in a real race car.  They are high end and made of very nice parts.  And they are unique, a completely different way to make a pedal set.

Shaun of The Simpit has already unboxed, assembled and installed the pedals but has yet to turn a single lap.  This video will be his live first impression and first thought as he heads into the full review coming later.

Hey Shaun:

I was hoping to participate in the next race and on Simracing System it says it's at Fuji. Which version of Fuji should I download.

I am all signed up and ready to race in the Carrera Cup, except for one thing.  How do I obtain Road America?  I do not have it in AC as one of my tracks.  Where is it?

Great review, you've convinced me to buy one of these for my rigsmile

One question, do you think the mounting brackets could be inverted (and swapped left to right) to mount it from the top?
