In the previous episode we setup what will be an on going series throughout a season of racing in the iRacing NASCAR fixed setup Truck series.  The first episode covered getting out on track, getting up to speed and the finally laying down a qualifying lap.  In this episode we run all of our races from the week and look at the big moments from each race.  We also look at the points from each race and see how we are doing towards our overall goal of a top 20 finish.

That is where the gauges come from. I added a second audio card, so after Xmas, maybe I will add SimVibe for my Buttkicker2.

Thank you Lyndal.

Also to answer a couple of questions that I have been asked.

The gauges you see on screen are from Sim Xperience.  It is the software that controls their motion systems, their Steering wheel to come, and also simvibe.  An added bonus of Sim Commander 4, is the overlaying gauges that you can customize yourself.  Please click the banner on our site to find out more.

I also mention that I am doing this series for diversity and fun.  I have spent many episodes for many years focusing on road racing.  It was time for a change, but in the future ther ewill be road versions on this going on.  Also in the future, working on setups and higher level racing will happen as well.  This was really mean to be an example for those who are still trying to get into the racing side of our hobby.

Great video!  Not being an iRacer (yet), it is interesting to see more about the points and impact of race results, etc.  Love the new site, etc.  Keep it up!

Hey Shaun:

I was hoping to participate in the next race and on Simracing System it says it's at Fuji. Which version of Fuji should I download.

Thanks!

Sean,
I am all signed up and ready to race in the Carrera Cup, except for one thing.  How do I obtain Road America?  I do not have it in AC as one of my tracks.  Where is it?

Great review, you've convinced me to buy one of these for my rigsmile

One question, do you think the mounting brackets could be inverted (and swapped left to right) to mount it from the top?

Hey man. Love your style and input on all your reviews. I have a question: my rig is fo the ps4, it has the thrustmaster t300 Alcántara edition, the fanatec clubsport v3 pedals, the cpx adapter from Basherboards, and I am looking forward to get this fanate shifter. You said that I could connect this shifter directly to the pedals via a USB cable. My question is: is that setup only for pc or will it work with the setup I provided above?

Thanks very much for your answer. I wouldn't wanna have to conform with the th8 because a misunderstanding of compatibility, and missing out on the fanatec Choice.

Thanks a bunch!
