This is my recap from week 4 in the iRacing NASCAR trucks fixed series. In this episode I work with iRacing pro Andrew Fayash on the secrets of speed that lay within Daytona. We work on the outright speed that is required to get a good qualifying run in. From there we move on to some of the tricks or skills required in pack racing that you would find at Daytona. After a long practice session, and a good qualify run. it is time to get down to business and do some racing.
Good Point ANdreas..... I knew about this but missed it at that moment. I was convinced of somethign else going on.
Rob, mr Red White and Blue truck. We sure did work well that week. you and I always seemed to be working together.
Hi Shaun,
the thing with the SR-boost is actually pretty easy. When you cross an X.00 threshhold the system doesn't multiply your gain/loss with some arbitrary factor but simply adds an +/- 0.4 SR.
So if you have a SR of 4.03 and you loose 0.04 SR points the system will take 0.44 points and you're at 3.59 instead of 3.99. I think this was implemented so people going from one license to another have a bit of a buffer and go clearly to the next level i.e. after fasttracking.

TP needs some updating. It is not very intuitive for new users. Instructions are hard to follow at times. Support response is in need of someone's dedication. Having individual paints is a real attraction within iRacing. This needs to be done better or replaced! Interesting that without member support there would be no answers or help. It's a shame, the program is so popular not to have good management.

I plan on taking this advice. Great page!

Hey Shaun:
I was hoping to participate in the next race and on Simracing System it says it's at Fuji. Which version of Fuji should I download.
Thanks!

Sean,
I am all signed up and ready to race in the Carrera Cup, except for one thing. How do I obtain Road America? I do not have it in AC as one of my tracks. Where is it?
